Day One of the conference officially commenced with a call on practitioners to pursue excellence in their professional engagements, demonstrate leadership and leverage opportunities for learning, collaboration and networking.
The event provides a platform for accounting professionals to connect with colleagues, share practical experiences and explore emerging ideas capable of improving professional practice and advancing the standards of the accountancy profession in Nigeria.
The forum is being hosted by the ANAN President and Chairman of Council, Chief Hajia Zuwaira Talatu Kishimi, FCNA
Participants are expected to benefit from professional interactions and knowledge-sharing opportunities aimed at equipping them to respond more effectively to emerging challenges in accounting, financial management and organisational governance.
ANAN has positioned the forum as part of its continuing commitment to professional development and the advancement of accounting practice, emphasising that professional excellence must translate into measurable value and positive outcomes for institutions and society.
As the forum continues through Friday, November 6, the central message remains clear: strengthening professional practice requires continuous learning, collaboration, high ethical standards and a commitment to delivering impact.
The 2026 MPPF Lagos reinforces ANAN’s drive to build a more competent, innovative and impactful accounting profession, where practitioners not only uphold professional standards but also contribute meaningfully to institutional performance and national development.
